Peppermint Paddy

Yes there really is Peppermint Paddy syrup. I’m not making it up. Look it up and go “get the sensation!” This recipe is also different from former recipes.

8 oz. milk

1 scoop chocolate protein powder

1 packet Swiss Miss “Sensible Sweets” diet cocoa mix 2 tbsp. sugar-free peppermint paddy syrup

2 packets of no-calorie sweetener (or to taste).

To make a cold shake:

To make a hot drink:

1. Combine all dry ingredients with milk and syrups in a blender 1. Heat milk in microwave until hot (about 30-45 seconds)

2. For a thicker shake, blend for two minutes. For a thinner shake, blend for one minute. 2. Combine dry ingredients (including sweetener) in a 12 oz. mug with 4 oz. room temperature water and stir until a thick paste develops.

3. For a thinner shake, allow liquid to settle before transferring to a glass. 3. Slowly add hot milk to paste mixture while stirring vigorously.

4. For a thicker shake, add 5-6 cubes of ice and blend until all ice is crushed. 4. If mixture isn't warm enough, heat in microwave for an additional 30 seconds.

5. Add syrups to the hot mixture.
